I've also been looking for a Halloween safety film for forever -- here are the basics: it was shot by Coronet/ Centron in 1976, was released in 1977 and then revamped & re-released in 1985. It was simply entitled "Halloween Safety" & my interest (beyond a good ol' Halloween obsession) stems from the fact that I was in it as a child, dressed as the Creature from the Black Lagoon.

It sounds to me like the same one being talking about here (from what my limited memories can conjure up) and I'd be just astounded if I could finally get a copy at some point (my limited internet searches show that it's still in a few school collections).

All the Centron-produced films are stored (and available for free viewing and sometimes coyping) at Spencer Research Library at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. "Halloween Safety" is one of them.

Do you remember the title, or any of the plot, or what safety points it stressed?

I just remember that it had a female voice-over and the main character was a girl. At one point they cut the eyes of a costume mask wider so that she could see. This was a long time ago. Either way, I'm looking for any from this period.

thanks
