Here is a list of bands in reverse-activation order.

Heh Jon, it *was* in reverse activation right after ya'll set up the collection in the new system, but any time we touch a collection page with an edit, I noticed it appears to bounce up to the top of the sort order. We'll be doing a lot of editing over the days and years, so it'll get pretty scrambled. I don't know why it would do that if the term being sorted is "publicdate", which I expected should be a one-time, fixed-date thing. But that's why I have the sort term in the front-page Activated link as "addeddate" instead. That at least gives the truly new activations going forward, in proper newset-first order. Is there another term that would sort to the original reverse-order of the old-system stuff as well?

Unf - that's a bummer. The publicdate field shouldn't be getting changed on updates...

Example: http://www.archive.org/details/Raq
Looks like *both* publicdate and updatedate got changed on my touch; addeddate is still preserved.
