Which texts are you talking about?

You can fix Project Gutenberg text at the source (www.gutenberg.org). There are instructions in the FAQ at that site, and a contact address on the contacts pages. Does this help?

NO - I am referring to editing and adding to the extended metadata on pages shown on archive.org that describe the documents that are available.

for example: http://www.archive.org/details/torturesettourments00galluoft

Right now, if the uploader of the file makes a mistake in the title or author, doesn't add a good description, does not add keywords, doesn't add clearly relevant keywords, the text will not be easily found. If the mistakes are too severe, the document may vanish in the database.

In this example, adding additional keywords like "Christianity" and "Anatomy" (the drawings are superb, if strange, Renaissance anatomical drawings), Gallonio's birth date (1556). etc. would add to the usefulness of the archive.

In many instances, the missing information is readily available in the scanned, downloaded file or even Wikipedia but there is no way to get the information into the metadata.
