Awww, that was very cute! I used to listen to Jack Cullen's "Owl Prowl" on CKNW 98, remember him Spuzz? I reconized "The Bickersons, The Shadow, Walter Winchell, and Amos and Andy. Spuzz, do you remember the J.P. Patches show on KIRO 7 in Seattle, he used to play those cartoons all the time. It brought back some happy memories. Thanks.

Yeah, Jack Cullen ruled.. They still play oldtime radio on 98, but it's somehow not the same..

When was that show on Kiro? I've only been here for the past 12 years..

If I was to see a cartoon like that in Calgary, I'd probably go into the mall into one of those Cartoon Huts, where you would pay a dollar sit in a 'house' and watch a cartoon.

Sorry for not replying sooner. J.P. Patches http://www.jppatches.com/ was a fixture on KIRO from 1958 to 1981, and he even had a shout out from Krusty the Klown on the Simpsons. I started becoming a Patches Pal in 1970, and I met him at a Shakey's Pizza Parlour in the mid 70's. He is in semi-retirement today.
