Is that first shot you sent from the film or the trailer? I just took at look at our DVD, which was put out by Turner Broadcasting in 2000 (I think), and it had the correct copyright date on it. What does that mean? Why would yours have a different date on it than mine? Now I'm confused.

well...I stand corrected!!! you are right, the notice on the film is attached and correct, so it is NOT pd. Looks like the trailer is :)

That doesn't look like a valid notice to me. It's missing the copyright symbol (© or (c)).

it don't need the copyright symbol it can just say copyright either is valid

A copyright notice must contain the word copyright, the copyright symbol, the year and the owner or author of the work. Without the symbol it's not a valid copyright notice.

I think it needs EITHER the symbol OR the word Copyright.
