Correct Uploading and Placement of Radio Program |
I recently uploaded the entire archive (minus a week of missing files) of the Odyssey radio program by WBEZ Chicago Public Radio here,
http://archive.org/details/Odyssey_WBEZ_Chicago_Public_Radio . Did I do this correctly? Should it also be placed in the Sub-Collection Radio Programs? Can I now delete the archive from my hard drive in the knowledge that this archive is safely stored for posterity?

The item seems fine. The Radio Programs collection is for private sub collections. To have a subcollection you would need to have created at least 50 item pages. Until then your item will remain safely available in Community Audio. Thanks for your contribution.

Thank you so much for uploading! I loved this show!
But before you delete, please recheck your files, because nearly a year is missing. If you do have them can you please reupload them?
Almost all the files are there through April of 2004, then a few of the July ones, and then nothing for the rest of 2004 or any of 2005. I hope you have them and can reupload them!

Hi, I'm glad someone could enjoy what I spent a lot of time on.
Unfortunately, I don't have the files anymore. I wasn't really familiar with the show, and didn't know how long it ran for. I believe I uploaded everything I had. I downloaded all the files I could find from the URL,
http://www.chicagopublicradio.org/audio_library/od_ra1.asp , which is no longer available.
Perhaps you could try contacting them,
http://chicagopublicmedia.org/contact , to see if they still have the other podcasts archived somewhere.
