A lot of folks don't like the slower tempo, but I love it either way. Same with FOTD. Just makes it more bluesy. 73 and 78 are my fav years for TLEO

far and away my personal favorite version of TLEO. Mid paced - not sluggish slow and not hippty-hop fast. Jerry is way up front in the mix and he is noodling up a storm throughout. He goes for seconds on his solo and the second round is pure Grateful Dead bliss. And Brent sticks with a real piano sound instead of the casio tinkle.

I love it when they warp the laws of physics, especially the ones that apply to music.
