Hello, the archive really needs to archive the sites under the domain homepage.mac.com/ and web.me.com/

MobileMe, the Apple service that supplied many everyday Joe's and Jane's with an easy to use webspace is suddenly going to disappear from the web.

As of the end of June, 2012 all sites that are under either http://homepage.mac.com/ and http://web.me.com/ will be shut down.

The archive really needs to do a scan of all sites under this domain before many of these valuable sites disappear.

Can there be an urgency put on this as there are literally thousands of sites here that we are talking about.

This is about as big as when geocities.com went down.

Cheers, skippR.

Hi, Skippingrock. Archive Team (the preservation activist group) is on the case, downloading hundreds of thousands of accounts. You can see the work realtime here: http://memac.heroku.com/

Hi Jason,
I have an account with the websites you guys are archiving and I would prefer not to have my account with Apple copied and re-published here. Who do I contact to ensure my account and privacy are not included by the Internet Archive?

Thanks!
Mike
