Is this the new lay out for accessing books on this page? Frankly, I think it sucks. Its ugly, non-user friendly, and I can't find where to go for the non-pdf individual pages version that used to be "read online"

There was a bug in a pushout. It's been fixed so hopefully al is well. Nice to know folks are using the the bookreader. Our apologies.

Jeff,

Actually, I use the book-reader often; it is one of the more popular features that people discover when I first introduce them to the Archive. The others are the ability to dowload materials in the various book-reader formats.

Ditto what dudeman5685 said. The link beneath books says Play / Download (help[help]) and when clicked it takes me to a page describing how to play a movie! Why can't we view book pages like before?
Do we have to download every book just to look at it? And if we do that, is there a way to view it on our PC's as we were previously able to view books online? If so, how?

I think my main problem is that we no longer have "Image Container PDF" for most books. This is what we used to have, I believe, when we pressed "read" or "read online" below the image of the book at the top left hand corner.

They still exist for community books though.

I uploaded a jpg image that shows the improperly functioning link. If that can't be viewed, maybe this will work.

The forum seems to be adding code to my link here that makes it inoperable. Enter this in your browser:
