App:edited timestamp on mp3 FeedBurner will not validate |
We use Archive.org for our podcast and then place the mp3 in our blog on Blogger at
http://thehappinesspatrol.blogspot.com/ We then use feedburner to distribute our blog through itunes and other services.
Our feed is:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/happinesspatrol Apparently Archive.org (or Blogger) is adding a tag (app:edited which is a timestamp) when we put the podcast in
enclosures. I can not see this on the html in Blogger but apparently feedburner can.
Here is the link to our most recent mp3:
http://www.archive.org/download/Episode83DavidProwse-timeMonster/Epi83_final.mp3When I try to validate the feed I get the following error message:
line 9, column 155: Undefined item element: app:edited (121
occurrences)
Here's the link to our feed validator:
http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3a%2f%2ffeeds.feedburner.com%2fhappinesspatrolI have tried every trick that has been suggested including hand typing the urls and retyping posts in the blog. Also, tried taking the url and other text and placing/saving on notepad to remove the tag.
NOTHING HAS WORKED. Every time I ping the feed the app:edited tag reappears.
Feedburner will not update our feed until I get rid of these errors. Is there a way to remove the tag or get around it?
PLEASE HELP!
