Some of the numbers for download counts don't look right. I was looking at some of the items in my netlabel collection and the numbers are from a month or two ago. Anybody else noticing this problem?

there will be a post on this next week. a bug that was just detected overcounted downloads since January. the bug was just fixed so the downloads will reflect that.

Thanks for your reply Jeff. Overcounted?!? Rats..... I did seem to accumulate an inordinate amount of donwloads in a short period of time, but I just thought it was because I finally "broke through" LOL.

what happened was that the little flippy gif that appears in search results pages were mistakenly counted as downloads since they are a file in the item and any file viewed/listened to etc.is considered a download. It was just discovered and fixed so I am expecting a downpour of posts and emails from folx who watch their numbers closely.

Ah, I see. I am interested to learn that listens are counted as well. I wondered about that.
