Re: Best Visions Of Johanna? |
I must agree, that one is quite enjoyable! Thanks so much.
I saw them play Visions on 3-30-95 in Atlanta. We all know how bad '95 was, and how it ultimately ended, but I found the Atlanta shows to be particularly dismal. Perhaps it's because that's where I saw my first show and somehow, noting Jerry's frail condition, surmised those would probably be my last.
Regardless the 03-18-1995 is a marvelous version and it seems to catch Jerry at one of his more lucid moments during that tour.
Thanks again!

Re: Best Visions Of Johanna? |
I listened to this show recently after finding it in the review box. I made it through the whole show which is a hard thing to do in 95. The Visions is nice and I like the way it drifts out of space(also hard for me to compare to other versions though).
http://www.archive.org/details/gd95-02-21.dsbd.stephens.8840.sbeok.shnfI too saw my only Dead shows in 95(JGB in 91) and remember Jerry being so frail, but it never even crossed my mind that he might be dead in a month. I guess I thought he could rebound from anything.
