I just love what his style became around this time. The way he played changed when he got Irwin's Tiger in 79', and it seems like his style, use of effects, etc, really got tight in 83. Plus he just fuckin' tore it up.
Pick any Scarlet/fire. Solo's on Loser, China Doll, Looks Like Rain, Stella Blue. Pick any Frankin's also...

'83 had a few monster shakedowns as well. i know we're talking about jerry, but i've noticed brent really started to come into his own in '83.
