amateurish looking uploads |
When looking for files to download, I get a little annoyed when the different formats for the same title are not listed in the same row.
Today, I uploaded my first set of files and looked at what I did and became annoyed because the different formats for the same title are not on the same line.
Is there a way to avoid that in the future and perhaps repair the current upload?

Re: amateurish looking uploads |
I was really not wanting to (learn how to and then) make mp3 so this is good news to me. However, what about the artists who do not want mp3's made of their files and also, there are already mp3 of the files I am uploading -- that set did not have flac files. They are already streaming here....
[later] I have just downloaded one of the modified flac files and what a disappointment! sox (play) needs to have the same Artist and Album tag before it will apply replay-gain so all of those files are here with what are now erroneous (and possibly useless) replay-gain tags. My "author" tag, while I understand that it is not considered to be a tag it is still information that is good to have and remember and also often missing from online information -- some people can write and some can sing or play, occasionally you get a few who can do both.
Now the files are amateurish -- at least the page looks good....
