I fell upon the Internet Archive site by accident and have spent hours enjoying much of the the content.

Alas, I am heart broken to see that not only is the software unavailable but it has been so for months.

The true disappointment came from viewing these forums and discovering that although the software section has been unaccessible since at least August 2002, no one has thought to post a statement on the opening web page for the software section explaining the problems. Thus, eager new members will spend time searching for unviewable/undownloadable files. This will lead to frustration and a general melancholy towards the entire site.

Please, either disable the software section until the files can be downloaded or have a large disclaimer on the software front page explaining there are only 5 files to be had...and of those only 50% actually work.
