Deriver does not write audio tags... |
For a while now, and for no apparent reason, IA's upload/derive process no longer recognizes my 128kbps telephone quality audio as such, insisting that the files are Variable Bit Rate and refusing to process the tags in the file written by common tag software which means that I now have to wait for the derivation processes to finish and manually change the audio descriptors by editing the detail page to 128kbps.
Yesterday I decided to waste some of IA's server space by uploading the files as VBR 320kbps and lo... behold, the files were recognized as VBR audio yet the tags were STILL not written until I had opened and closed the edit page.
My question... IS IA's audio derivation system processing the tags at all anymore, and if so, what kind of audio needs to be uploaded for the processing of the tags by IA's derivation system?
