I have some irreplaceable stuff in the vinyl collection (analog) that I'd love to move into digital... wish there was an easy way, but it's time consuming and problematic.

The good news is that you can get some impressive results doing your own transfers from your records to digital . It is a bit of a pain , compared to regular digital transfers ( we are so spoiled ) , but it can be done with a stand alone cd recorder , or now devices that allow you to convert you analog signal straight into your computer , as 16, or 24 bit . This old news to some here . I'm sure .
