Re: Scarlet |
Thanks for the info, that makes a lot of sense. I think she's a fantastic gospel singer; those are the songs with JGB where she sounds the best, though she's usually harmonizing beautifully in all the songs.
"none of that explains what happened in this Scarlet. There is no way that what she was attempting to do could have sounded good."
True. That's the part I can't understand, it's like, WHAT are you trying to do here, whose idea was this? Did *she* want to do it and no one had the heart to tell her it didn't sound so good? Or did they all think it sounded fine?
"I actually think it is so bad that i usually start laughing when i listen to this show."
Yeah. I'm glad when there's a forewarning, otherwise some of her outbursts can actually scare me. I jump in my seat.

Re: Scarlet |
Holy shit, I thought she was in labor. Scary.
Yeah, I really agree she sang better with JGB. Hers is not a rock 'n roll voice, much more suited to singing quietly. Her pitch is usually quite good, but her vocal timbre goes out the window when she tries to go loud.
