Re: Problem with THE TERROR (1938) |
Here's the link
http://www.archive.org/details/TheTerror_96I started by clicking on the image at the top of the page, which I normally do. This version played well until it stopped cold at 58 minutes. I then tried to download to Real Player. Once it was up there, it started fine. I fast-forwarded to the trouble spot, and it not only stopped, but made a grinding sound. I deleted this, went back to the original Int. Archive site, clicked on the picture again. This time it froze while downloading, and also froze my computer. I rebooted, tried again, same thing.
This morning I tried downloading all three of the files, without attempting to open up the picture on the site. None of these versions would play on Real Player, or Windows Media, or Quick Time. All said "unable to open."
I deleted it again, tried to click on the image on the site, again it froze before opening, again I had to reboot my computer to get out of the site.
I'm not going to bother any more. Besides, it isn't figure out the ending of the film.

Re: Problem with THE TERROR (1938) |
If the image you are referring to is the Flash video, I don't have any problem in Firefox at the 58 minute mark. Can you try a different browser?
I'm not exactly clear on what you mean by "download." Are you able to save the file to your computer? Try right-clicking the link to the file, and choose "save link as.." or "save target as..", and save the file to your computer before playing it.
