French novel |
I need some help in finding a French novel written by an officer of French military posted in Algeria when Algeria was French colony, I had a read of that novel once here on this site but didn't downloaded it and now cant find it. the story is of a man who's a ladies-man and his father gets married to a young girl and he fells in love with her step mother and went out of the tribe and what not, adopted a girl for himself to marry and that's where I left it. now cant find it. apparently its a famous writer and a famous book. two or three chapters I guess and not more. so if you have the idea what I am looking for and can help, I'll appreciate it a lot. thanks in advance. cheers.
