Found an old history book from my family. Parley's Universal Hisory For Schools. Found a copy of this book on this site but everyone states there is no copyright date. But the book I have, has on the second page...a statement stating " Entered, according to act of Congress, in the year 1837, By S. G. Goodrich, in the Clerk's Office of the District Court of Massachusetts"; does this mean that this book was entered into the courts to be used in the school system in 1837?

What should I do with this book to preserve it? Any information or ideas would be grateful. Thank you.

Looking for a prestigious library. You certify the authenticity.
Keep it in the best position as a unique asset or make a donation to a national library or an important foundation.
