Thanks--the feeling's mutual.
To clarify--I think the Winterland November 1973 shows are the best shows that year, and better than any 1971 shows I've heard. But needless to say, we each look for somewhat different things. The shows in RT 3/2 have more of the energy you crave, so it makes perfect sense that you'd prefer them. In fact, Jerry's bold, take-no-prisoners solos on so many of the short songs are tailor-made for you.
