the nonflash being more reliable than flash seems a bit odd/unexpected.
(so long as these aren't > 50MB files we are talking about?)

we only use flash for two reasons:
1) only cross-OS and browser technology out there that allows people to select 2+ files at the same time to "upload"
2) it's really supergreat to watch the number of bits going up to the server -- ie: client side monitoring of progress and percent done!

but both the flash and nonflash options, ultimately, hit the same [form] submit and backend processing -- nearly everything is identical.
so i'm not sure what is up...
do you have a pretty recent flash version? just trying to think of anything...

I have been trying to upload for about a month and can't.
The flash always gives server error message
and the tne non-flash method
just says its uploading (for hours )
and then when it quits
the files aren't there
Have uploaded about a hundred files in the past
so what has changed?
really annoying
have tried all days and times
but nothing seems to work
administrators just say
they don't know

Hi,

Does anyone know what happens with file uploads?. I am trying to upload an audio file since several days and I cann“t. I use firefox and the file I want to upload has more than 50MB.

The error it appears is 403. I do not know why.

I will be very happy if some of you can tell me how to fix this issue.

Regards,

Richard.

I have the same problem. Close Internet applications while the upload its working, this is : let your browser alone with archive.org while its upping your files. Working fine for me. I dont known if its an bandwith issue with my connection or what... Anyway, good luck!
