Hello Tammy,

Internet Archive forums are meant to be a friendly community of users sharing information and ideas. I have deleted your postings as a result of violating these rules and our terms of use. They are not the place for accusations or inflammatory statements. Disputes involving the copyright status of items on the archive should be brought directly to the staff of the Internet Archive.

I assure you that all of the films in the Prelinger Archives are not copyrighted and are in fact free and available to the public domain. In terms of other film collections on the Internet Archive, it is up to the individual uploading the item to determine that there are not rights issues that would keep the item from being uploaded and available through the Internet Archive. If you think that certain films outside of the Prelinger Archives are in copyright, again please email me directly (astrid at archive.org) so that we can review the situation and delete the item if necessary. This is the most efficient way to handle situations like this; Internet Archive is a non-profit organization and does not have the manpower to be constantly reading the forums. Writing to us directly will ensure that you will have the attention of a staff person very quickly.

I have noted the movies that you mentioned in your post, but if there are others or if you would like to discuss this further please contact me.
