Re: downloading a whole directory |
I got the right MB.
I got the right name, but excluding the extension [i.e. ".zip"].
Even adding the extension I didn't get file to decompress.
I can run it again, but it may be less of a pain to download item by item.
Thank you for swift reply.
Would I be indiscrete to state location of Hancock episodes elsewhere on net, considering BBC's opinion on what is and isn't in public domain?
With appreciation
allan

Re: downloading a whole directory |
Purely a personal opinion, this. I am no copyright expert (and I also just happen to be logged in as librivoxbooks. ;)) but this is what the UK Copyright Service says in Fact sheet P-01 UK Copyright Law:
"Sound Recordings and broadcasts
50 years from the end of the calendar year in which the work was created, or,
if the work is released within that time: 50 years from the end of the calendar year in which the work was first released."
So if these radio programmes were released before 1959 (and I think they were) they should be PD.
