Re: TDIH: Rupert Holmes said it best...'if you like making love at midnight, in the dunes of the Cape' |
I was interested enough to give this a listen, Cole's Law being one of my any where, any time, favourite tunes, but I had to stop. Not only because I have a low tolerance for idiots yelling awwwrriiigghtttt!!! in the quiet moments, but also because the extra cheese provided by Melvin Seals organ rendered the whole thing pretty indigestible. I have tried more than once to like the Crazy Engine but Seals just makes it impossible for me. Compare and contrast with Robert Walter on keys on this version:

Yeah, it's noticably better. Dire got me started with a few Kimock recommendations a while back, I think I need to spend a bit more time on him. Got any suggestions, Rob ?

Re: Kimock recommendations |
Thanks Rob. I've been listening to the 2006 show you linked yesterday, and the 1/10/05 here at work. They both sound great, so I'll d/l between now and the weekend and give them a proper listen then.

Re: Kimock recommendations |
I was hearing Kimock or Greene are Sheep Herders. Mann, could imagine herding sheep to "Crazy Engine" or "Mexican Lady" ? You wouldn't have to worry about wool for your winter sweater. Just picture a Smoking Crater or yourself turning butter.
"DID ICE CREAM ?"
