TDIH |
or to be more precise this Birthday in history. I was 17 on the day this show took place
http://www.archive.org/details/gd1970-06-06.sbd.miller.86951.sbeok.flac16 I'd only recently heard Live Dead and as far as I know there was no tape trading going on in the UK. Later I would discover bootleg LPs in a little record shop off Carnaby Street, and then through a fanzine calle 'Spiral Light' others who shared. Don Henley was wrong, it's good to look back.

Re: TDIH |
Was Don Henley wrong? He said:
"I should just let them go BUT-
...And I can tell you my love for you will still be strong
After the boys of summer have gone"
This song, The End of the Innocence, was written in 1989 by Bruce Hornsby, with lyrics added by Henley.
I wonder which lyrics and what lyrics Hornsby uses?

Happy Birthday, Snori! I've heard of something called 'ritual birthday de-bagging' in the UK, I hope you can avoid that... :)
