I have some information about a 79-year-old friend of mine, Bernie Hibbert, who may (note "may") prove to be a useful source of help, if he is not actually the man you are looking for. Bernie was born in January 1931 and lived in Cape Town, but that doesn't necessarily mean he is the person you are seeking.
