Forum: general Subject: How can I report an inaccurate classification of an archived manuscript?

Hi, relatively new to this site as a whole, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to report a library entry for being classified in the completely wrong place? I was searching for a specific dictionary in my language and came across one that I found interesting from 1643, however, I realised that it is in the Middle English Collection when its relation to the English language is back in Proto-Indo-European times. The actual language is Early Modern Irish.

I would like to know for future reference, but if here is the appropriate place; https://archive.org/details/bim_early-english-books-1641-1700_focloir-no-sanasan-nua-_oclery-michael_1643/page/n2/mode/1up

You can use the "Flag" button next to the Share and Favorite buttons, but I'm sure you already knew that. Besides that, you could also email info@archive.org to check if they can change the auto-generated item topic. There's not any other option to flag an item than those two. I would suggest not expecting results immediately BTW - archive.org is ran by a pretty small team for all the data they manage, so it'll probably take a while for them to fix the category.

The first part of this reply comes across a bit sarcastic, but I did try using the flag button to no apparent success. It highlighted itself in red and did nothing else as far as I could see, not sure if the intention is that you wait for an email or something.

As for the rest, that is fair and I do know it's a small team, I was just wondering if there was a specific report function for mistakes. Thanks for the reply with the options I could try, though!
