Forum: forums Subject: Is there a way to upload letters so they can be published in the future?

I have some documents here pertaining to a self-steering system for sailboats - the kind of thing that would be fitted to a 40' recreational vessel for offshore sailing.

There are a handful of remaining manufacturers of such products, and I have a brochure and some fitting instructions for a model made in the 80's - the manufacturer has since gone bust.

I would like to preserve these because I regard them as a part of yachting history, and useful for any boat owners attempting to restore an older vessel with this model fitted.

I have less than 20 pages altogether and I don't think this information is available anywhere else online. I assume this is suitable for uploading here?

Amongst the documents is an invoice for the 1986 purchase of one of these vanes, and on it some handwritten made by the previous owner of my boat. Ideally I would like to include this, in case the notes are relevant, and for its historical value, but I'm reluctant to publish the invoice with his address whilst the previous owner of my boat remains alive (he was 3 or 4 years ago). I would prefer to upload it was an option to publish it in a decade, by which time he'll surely be dead. I don't suppose there is an option for this?
