Something is definately not right here. I am from South Carolina, I cannot download anything, like a simple .mp3 file (6 megabytes). I keep getting very slow connections, if any. Once logged in I get about 24.? KBps sometimes even slower.

Is the Archive under attack? This has been going on now for about 4 days, that I am aware of. I know that it has had outages before, even Forbes has reported it having been attacked and outages before. I hope someone has an answer.
Thanks in advance

The download speeds are slower when more people use the site at the same time.
And for an archive, long-term storage is prioritized over speed.

Thanks for the reply, I do know what you are saying, I have been using the internet since approx. 1993. However, I was getting better speeds with a 33K modem back then.
Thanks for the replay though. PEACE ;-)
