Hi. I'm aware this question has been asked before, but no one seems to have answered these questions that I have (it's generally not a big deal, I don't use it so much, but it's weird). All books are only available to patrons with print disabilities. (What does that mean, and how do you register to become one?) I have some questions about this. Namely:
1) When did this start?
2) Does it apply to *every* book, or just some? If the latter, are there patterns?
3) Why?
4) Will it go away at some point?
Thank you in advance.

Just learned this from the folks at Internet Archive: "The Southern District of New York court recently issued its final order in Hachette v. Internet Archive. This affects how we may lend books. Please bear with us as we are making changes to our service in light of this ruling."

I have this same question. Something's changed, but haven't been able to find out what or why.
