Yes, you can upload new files to Archive.org while previous files are still in the derivation process.

Archive.org allows you to upload multiple files in batches or individually. The derivation process happens asynchronously for each file upload. So uploading new files will start a separate derivation job for those new files, even if derivations for your previous uploads are still in progress.

The derivation process converts your uploaded files into formats suitable for preservation and access in the Archive.org database. This includes things like extracting text for full text search, generating thumbnails, converting images to JPEG2000 for preservation, etc.
