I just got my hands on the complete 50's Captain Video serial - all chapters present and it is public domain. This is very rare and the archive on has 2 poor quality chapters available.
I'm preparing to upload it tomorrow or the day after. This will be my first upload.
I've read the upload FAQ, but I want to be able to add my own comments on quality and so on. How would I do this?
Thanks

You may use the best software I have seen AVS Video Tools. It can convert to/from all key format, upload video or DVD directly to key portables like iPod, Sony PSP, Archos, Zen Creative, and mobiles.

It can capture video from DV or webcams, TV tuners, DVB-T, DVB-S, transfer VHS tapes to DVD, remove commercials, edit video, copy and burn DVDs and video files: AVI (DivX, XviD, etc.), MP4, WMV, 3GP, 3G2, QuickTime (MOV, QT), SWF, DVD, VOB, VRO, MPEG 1,2,4, MPG, DAT, VCD, SVCD, ASF, H.263, H.264, RM, DVR-MS.

There is the free download link:

Do you mean the 1951/1952 Columbia Pictures serial? Cause that is not public domain as a search of the US Government Copyright website shows (though the TV series is indeed PD, it only exists in a random selection of about 24 or so episodes surviving of the 1000+ made.).
