thanks to you and others I have come to appreciate and enjoy shows from the dumont network.
sure would like some time with the ucla achieve...
so the dumont captain video is the same captian video that norton from the honeymooners demands to watch in the classic episode where ralph and ed share a tv?
norton is in fine form with his captain video helmet and stun gun...
time for some rocky and mable king...

Yep, it's the same "Captain Video". In fact, both Jackie Gleason and Art Carney worked at DuMont before moving to CBS in 1952, and although the sitcom "The Honeymooners" aired on CBS, it was filmed using DuMont's soundstages and crew.
