Hi - I've been downloading films from Prelinger and editing them to post on Flickr and email them to friends. But I can't do it anymore because Prelinger stopped using MPEG1 and Windows Movie Maker, which I use for editing videos, doesn't work with MPEG2 and MPEG4. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks.

Upgrade to a better video editor :)

There is software that will convert the videos to a format you can use. MediaCoder is free and open source. It may have a high learning curve at first, but the forum is very helpful.

I just posted a similar question, I'll try that software but does it have the overused blue background and starwars credit feature everyone thinks is so cool until you see everyone else has used it?
