http://www.archive.org/details/mtk208

Monotonik is delighted to present a new EP from Russian idm stars Sleepy Town Manufacture, some six years after they released their first tracks for the label.

The result is the evocative 'Hello And Goodbye EP', four tracks of wonderfully laidback electronic, starting out with the looping, languid 'Trem'. Next up is 'Oopon', showcasing all kinds of beautiful, pitchperfect chord and percussion action.

Finally, we have the slightly harder, more angular 'Zzujd', before we finish out with the title track, all kinds of phasing, pastoral sounds. We're very happy to have you back in Sleepy Town with us.

Since I noticed there was a LOT of interest still in the Archive.org Monotonik archives (which are very out of date, and I'll be updating with newer sets soon), I've been cleaning them up and getting the streams working properly, also adding the artist and title on the details page so it's easy to read.

So, via these pages, you can one-click download the entire archives (it uses 'stream on the fly' so beware if you're a Mac user with Stuffit), stream the whole archives via Flash player, and download individual MP3s.

I'll post here when I clean each release up, and also when I add new ones:

[12/27/08] - Cleaned up MTK001-MTK050: http://www.archive.org/details/mtcomp001 - spans from January 1999 to March 2001.
"Some highlights might include Lackluster's languidly beautiful "Bothersome (Mother Mix)", later to feature on his lovely 'Container' album on DeFocus, Sense's Wonka-sampling "Bubble Blower", some bad-ass Hoffman material, a whole skewed album by Binary, and Vim's plain gorgeous "Thin Strips Of You"."

[12/27/08] - Cleaned up MTK051-MTK090: http://www.archive.org/details/mtcomp002 - spans from March 2001 to September 2002.
"Some highlights might include Idmonster's beautifully delicate 'The Force May Be With You', Sleepy Town Manufacture's peaceful Russian IDM, some superquirky goodness from Phasmid, retro but gorgeous techno from Tweeter, amazing beepiness from both Aleksi Eeben and Virt, more seminal chill from Lackluster, and much more."
