Well "later", anyway.
Personally, I am underwhelmed by most of the "new tunes" of the '80s and '90s.
I'm not trying to bash them, it's just not my thing.I could never find myself getting excited by any of those songs when I saw them.I have to admit I did like Victim a bit at first, but it was killed by over-play.
But that's just my opinion.

agree about victim. the song has its merits, but i never liked it as a second set staple (or opener especially). if they would have busted it out every once in a while it would have been fine. there were also very few other "new" bob tunes that i could stomach very well. victim was a least a pretty cool jam.

as for the new jerry songs, they were never my favorites either. i wanted more ruben and cherise, and less of the road/river songs of later years.
