Forum: etree Subject: deleting a show that you uploaded but didn't import

Hello there,

Here is my situation: About 3 weeks ago I uploaded a show, Go There in Greensboro 6/20/04... Then I realized, before importing, that I needed to edit the 2nd set. So I did that, created new md5 check sums, etc.

Here is the problem, I can't find any record of the show that was uploaded but not imported, at the contribution center (http://www.archive.org/contribute.php)... Is there a time limit? If you don't import a show within a certain time limit after uploading it, is it removed?

I now want to re-submit this show, should I simply upload as normal, or will I get errors cause the show was already uploaded (even though it was never imported)?

Somebody please help me, couldn't find the answer in the FAQ.

Thanks, peace!

Then I realized, before importing, that I needed to edit the 2nd set.

From this I gather that you never clicked the "Import your Uploads" button and filled out the form for this recording. If that's true, the show was never in the Contribution Center - only shows that *have* been imported are found there. Your recording is most likely still in your upload folder on the upload server. Take a look and let us know.

Thanks for your help Brad -- I did FTP back to uploads and the files were indeed there. All is cool.

Thanks again, peace!
