I was listening to this at work, getting warmed up for the Dark Star, left it running to handle the next client for the day...came back to write the note for their visit, and POOF!
Damn, should have downloaded first and listened later.
In the interim, I think I would prefer Warren to do his own thing and have the Dead find someone else. Warren is a talent at what he does, but that doesn't do it for me with the Dead material. It sounds sluggish and tired. Wave that Flag was a dissapointment.
I would love a Deadheads for Obama T-Shirt!

Blow it off; I don't spend any time post 71 and I WAS excited about this one...if nothing else, it's great to see the guys doing something. I could careless about the political aspect, and whether they are sellouts or assholes or whatever, but having invested so much interest in them for so many years, how could one of us not have some excitment about the show? To see how obviously happy Phil is with the experience (BTW, lots of pics of them over at Hook from the folks that went, and even some funny stories), is enough for me.
