Forum:	bookmobile	Subject:	We need help with start up Bookmobile for immigrants communities in Sacramento

We are 2 immigrants is Sacramento CA. We would like to start with bookmobile project "Mayflower" to help immigrant communties with English language and American literature learning, society integration and also with access to literature in their own language (Starting with Russian and Ukrainian).
So were should we start? I guess we should register first non-profit.
It would be helfull to see as bookmobile is working actually. I mean technical part.
Is bookmobile is coming to Sacramento?
If it is coming somewere SF or Nothern CA we will travel to see how its works.
Can somebody to be our mentor in this?

Has anybody followed up on this? It's not that I underestimate the importance of giving away free books to the white rich kids of Massachusets or talking Thoureau at Walden Pond, but perhaps these immigrants that want to learn English have got a point too.
