'Winterland 1973: The Complete Recordings' (9 CD) We've just seen this as a UK release on a Rhino schedule for May 5th. More news when we have it.

Nothing about this on Rhino.com or Dead.net. Nothing at Rhino UK either. They don't even have a search engine on their website and a pull down list of the artists doesn't include the Grateful Dead...

Just hope that they don't repeat the miskes of the Fillmore West box set! A contrived shortage encouraged piracy. Non-DeadHeads resold their limited copies on EBAY for rip-off prices like $500.00. You still can't buy the complete package at a price any where close to the MSRP.

Only thing I found other than LL post was old ramblings about it being released in past posts from 2006....maybe thats where it came from at LL...who knows.....

The poster on LL is quoting from an advert by Spin CDs

a UK company that imports GD material. They claim their info came from Rhino.

Quivers of anticipation are rippling up and down my spine. Thanks for passing on the hopeful news.

BTW, I note that my Road Trips 1/1 order was just about three months ago. Dick's Picks came out about once every three months, and the volume/issue conceit for the road trips could imply quarterly releases too. Would it be too much to hope for Spring 1968?

So is this a set that was already in the box and just not released in 2006?

If so, does anyone know the reasons for it not being released in 2006?

Still I am very much looking forward to it when it is released; and a release every quarter or two would work for me.

Spring of '68 is in my prayers as well...
