Re: Drums |
I dont mean to sound callous, truely.
I have been I drummer for close to 3 decades now.
These questions are messin wit me head though..
Why does 5-7&8-77 sound so good?
Where is a good Drumz?
I duunnoo brrrooo.
Pick a segment that the Dead didnt do THE MOST of...
Drums: 273 times from 1967 to 1995 and
Drumz: 1265 times from 1978 to 1995
The difference between the "s" and "z" has blurred
to me. I've seen Micky dry-hump the Beam, but never
got to see the Beast.....Or Billy "dancing" on the traps
without Micky
But I submit (AND IM FORGETTING ABOUT A THOUSAND....) :
ANYthing Micky has put out. At least Digarythm to some of his latest efforts. I would
personally go back to 68 on the ranch but....I digest
oh yeah, ANYthing Billy played with the Dead without Micky
and
12-12-69
4-21-78
10-21-78
11-10-79
11-29-80
4-24-84
9-5-85 and most Red Rocks shows!
3-29-87
6-6-91
6-26-94
A drop in the ocean....
Here is a suggestion:
Record every (and I mean EVERY) drums segment in chronological order
with some fading inbetween (seamless) and let me know
how many gigabytes thats gonna be.
Thats what I wanna know
