DAMMIT Theory! You beat me to the first posting! And yeah, I WAS going to talk about his... interesting choice of hatwear with his business attire, angled JUST SO... Highly ridiculous, although not nearly as ridiculous as Lightning's disguise as the mexican bandito, which featured a 38 gallon hat it seems.
I have LOTS of comments about this film, I enjoyed it for the most part, plot loop holes galore like.. (I'm presuming you saw the film?)
If the bank employee was the mastermind behind the whole plot, why didn't he just KILL Lightning Carson's cousin right off the top and not have this horse and pony story?
Speaking of Carson's cousin, is it me or was that plot totally shelved. It seems that the 'letters' were a way to get him out of the picture..

Had his hats been any bigger, this movie could have passed as an episode of
Lidsville.
SPOILER ALERT!
Also, a big hat saves the day in the finale. Hooray for hats!
