Hey Rob,

I don't know if you saw the 'guilty pleasures' thread a while ago, but I 'fessed up that Hawkwind were mine. Ah, those pre Silver Machine daze, and although I was clearly at an impressionable age the old eyes still moisten ever so slightly if I hear anything from the first eponymous album, which I must admit does have a certain freshness to it even after all this time.

Snori - I recall seeing Hawkwind play at the Hammersmith Odeon way back when - as I recall they were a right bunch of lunatics. If I were to own up to a guilty pleasure (and really why should we feel guilty?) it would be Blue Oyster Cult - though you probably reckon Hawkwind would kick their arses and steal their lunch money.
