focus on York's history. The yearbooks and catalogs offer a unique historical
perspective of the College's evolution from two preparatory schools, the York
County Academy (1787) and the York Collegiate Institute (1873), and York Junior
College (1941) to York College, which now offers 54 majors, six masters' degree
