The University Libraries of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), a member of the Open Content Alliance, is contributing unique content to the Internet Archive from the Martha Blakeney Hodges Special Collections and University Archives and from other sources. Materials submitted to date include yearbooks and other publications, including both UNCG's literary and alumni news magazines, and a large collection of Word War I pamphlets. There are plans for additional materials to be added in the future, documenting not only the history of UNCG, but also of the state and region.

The University Libraries include the main Walter Clinton Jackson Library and the Music Library, a separate facility located within the School of Music. Holdings number more than 3.3 million items. The libraries are dedicated to providing state-of-the-art information technology for use by their patrons. Online collections are coordinated through the Digital Projects Office, a unit of the Electronic Resources and Information Technology department.
