New Delhi FM combines edgy, but grooving beats with wide pads and calm melodies to offer the uptempo (but never obtrustive)collection of songs entitled 'far from yesterday'. Best when listened to closely and mindfully, each track creates a unique soundscape of dark atmospheres that are reinforced throughout the album. Shorter, beatless interludes were included when compiling the album to avoid making an overly tight and exhausting experience and to prevent forseeability from the listener.
Far from yesterday prefaces the label's archive for single artist releases. sandro boege and paul krege, the two minds behind new delhi fm, have been making music together since 1996. their influences include, but are not limited to, old jazz and funk records that make their music a very interesting listen.
