A very strange and intriguing film in deed. I can not say for sure what we are watching in this short, but after a couple viewings, I have a strong theory.

What came first to my mind, and was reinforced as the video proceeded, was that we are watching some type of fraternity. The building, the 'well-to-do' appearance of the men, the play and the lack of women are all consistent with some fraternal events I have been part of in the past.

If this would be true, the next question would be, what group is this? While the format is quite similar to masonic (and many other) groups, I don't recognize this play. Granted, I have not seen every different masonic degree, including fringe ones that may have existed in the 50's but no longer do.

I kind of like to think this is a type of parody these gentlemen made up and filmed so they might show their wives, as to say "Want to know what we do? Come watch this film we put together".

If anyone has any solid background on this, it would be great to learn more. Does the uploader, or others, know why this is titled "ohio Power Co Vets"? Are these Power company retirees?
