Maybe this is a cartoonish self portrait, although I don’t remember what led me to draw it. I think it was an illustration to go along with something I wrote on a blog, I don’t know.
Anyway, today, it makes me think of “digging deep” into thought, looking further, below the surface of things, not to satisfy one’s curiosity, but for the sake of finding out what’s wrong, what happened, why is this or that, and how can it be improved or resolved, now.
All from a Christian viewpoint, for me. Not worldly psychology or “self-help”, but from a spiritual lens, in Jesus.
It’s not about me, or you, but about Him. So, if I “dig deep” into my mind, or my past, or my habits, or my thought patterns, it’s for the sake of healing, for prayer, for clearing out debris from my being, so I can be better, and grow further, in Him.
